Our Austin, Our America-Embracing Diversity

I returned to my little meat-packing town in Southern Minnesota 40 years after leaving there to start my professional life in New York City as a photographer. I was amazed to learn that not only are there people starting new lives there from over 40 places on the entire planet, but that the town was being exceptionally welcoming to the newcomers who would be new Americans, just like our forefathers. I moved back to tell the story and four years later here it is in print.
